Normally, I wouldn’t be with my Mom on Easter Sunday as my Dad’s side of the family is Catholic. I wasn’t able to be with my Dad and his side of the family for Easter this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak. I wanted to document how different things are this year on Easter. In my pictures, you do not see Easter anywhere. Although it was Easter, it just did not feel like it. People are more worried about staying safe and healthy instead of egg hunts.
In my slideshow, I tried to portray what my Mom and I did on Easter and how Coronavirus had an effect on it. On the way home, my Mom said, “We spent more time waiting in line at Walmart and for our food at Sonic than on the highway.” I have never seen people be so wary of their proximity to each other in New York. This situation that we are in is unprecedented. One way for people to get a better understanding of the reality of Covid-19 is through pictures. I hope that my slideshow was able to do this for you.
I have been playing soccer since I could walk. I love the game so much that I do whatever I can to be involved with soccer. If a soccer game is on, I am mostly watching it. I rarely miss a Real Madrid game and if I do it’s because I’m out training or refereeing soccer. Seriously, soccer is more than a game to me. It is a lifestyle and passion!
